Feeding Instructions

Switching to a plant-based product must be donegradually. There are two ways to switch:

Option 1: gradually shifting from the old product to the new- start by mixing the old food (to which your pet is already accustomed) with the new plant-based food at 1:4 ratio:

  • 1 part plant-based food : 4 parts old product

Then during the following two-weeks gradually increase the proportion of plant-based product. At the end of the second week you should not be adding the old product.

Option 2: adding some extras -start by mixing 1 teaspoon of flaked nutritional yeast, margarine, or vegetable oil to each 1/2 cans of the plant-based product.

Then during the following two-weeks gradually reduce nutritional yeast, margarine, or vegetable oil to zero. Pets adapt to the new plant-based product with no added flavor after 1-2 weeks.

Check and brush your pet’s teeth regularly
