We combined the Dr.Richard Pitcairn meeting with the Sedona Veggie Fest. Both were really outstanding, We need to know and realize the environmental facts on the impact of the Raw Meat Diet for our Pets and the Planet we should be sharing with other Animals. I have been a proponent of the Raw Meat Diet for almost 30 years and it's
time for me to face the scary reality of what is happening to the Earth and other Animals that live here .

Susan Pitcairn did a projected calculation about how feeding a Raw Flesh Diet has huge Environmental and Human Costs.

By feeding a 70 lb Dog, a Raw Meat Diet for 11 years the cost would be (because of the Meat)

  • 8.8 million gallons of water
  • 5.5 acres of rainforest land
  • 180.7 tons of grain
  • 80 tons of CO2 equivalents
  • 8,030 animals killed
  • 365,385 miles of fossil fuel used
THE CLIMATE - ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF FLESH BASED RAW & COOKED ANIMAL FLESH DIETS IN ANIMAL ABASED PET AND HUMAN FOODS IS STAGGERING AND NOT SUSTAINABLE AS WE CAN SEE WITH THE INCREASING WILDFIRES, HURRICANES, TORNADOES, HEAT WAVES, STORMS  AND DROUGHTS!
1000'S OF MEN WORMAN AND CHILDREN DIE EACH DAY FROM STARVATION & CLIMATE CRISIS IN THE WORLD EACH DAY!
IF WE CONVERTED THE LAND USED TO RAISE FOOD FOR CATTLE, CHICKENS, TURKEYS, PIGS, LAMBS, HORSES, PIGS AND FISH AND INSTEAD AND INSTEAD USED THE PLANT BASED FOODS FOR PEOPLE, CATS, DOGS & FERRETS, WE WOULD HAVE A MUCH MORE SUSTAINABLE FOOD SUPPLY IN THIS WORLD & A FAR SAFER & FAR MORE STABLE CLIMATE - ENVIRONMENT IN THIS WORLD

We would not have the environmental disasters - impact of ever decreasing concentrations of Oxygen and ever increasing Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrous Oxide and Pesticidesthat accumulate within Meat, Poultry, Fish, Dairy and Egg Foods.
